Located in Kenosha, Wisconsin, a city of 100,000 strategically situated midway between Chicago and Milwaukee. Carthage operates on a 4-1-4 system which means the month of January is J-Term!

Joseph Shields is a business professor at Carthage College who spent part of his career in Goteborg, Sweden. He brought these connections back to Carthage and given many students the opportunity to experience them first-hand.
Dr. Jan Owens
Dr. Jan Owens had a successful career at Carthage College where she made a huge impact on many students. During her time at Carthage, Jan had the opportunity to join professor shields on his trip to Goteburg. She found so much value and enjoyment in this trip, that she has continued to join even after her retirement!
